FRENCH MARRIAGE LAW.

BILL OF HEALTH PROPOSED

LONDON, March 3,

Compulsory medical examination before marriage, proposed by Senator Godart, will be discussed in the French Senate, writes the "News-Chronicle" Paris correspondent.

This follows the recent modernisation of the marriage laws, lowering the minimum age at which men and women may marry without their parents' consent from 25 to 21.
