At the Onehunga Police Court this fnorning two Chinese gardeners, Lum Chtirig and Wong Quart, who failed to pay their instalments of tlie unemployment levy for the months of AitgUst and November, 1931, .were fined 20/ and costs hy Mr. F. H. Lcvien, S.M. Tor employing Lin Joe, who had been in arrears with his unemployment levy for more than one month, Wong Quan was ordered to pay costs. . The defendants pleaded ignorance Of the law, and said they had since paid all that was due.
