NO BODIES FOUND.

LOST BRITISH SUBMARINE.

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, February 12. From statements issued by the Admiralty about the sunken submarine M 2 it appears that no evidence has been found to show that any compartment remained habitable after the sinking. Nine vessels were employed with the object of trying to detect tappings or signals, but without result.

The echo-sounding gear used in the search accounted for some tappings reported. No bodies have been recovered, nor have any been seen in the wreck.
