REDUCTION IN STAKES.
CANTERBURY JOCKEY CLUB. ADMISSION CHARGES LOWERED. (By Telegraph.—'Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The Canterbury Jockey Club has decided on a reduction in stakes of OSOsovs for the autumn meeting. The Great Easter Handicap will be worth oOtteove, instead of 750sovs, and the stake for the Great Autumn will be the same. The admission cnarges have _ been reduced for the summer meeting .on February 20, including 5/ for men for the inside enclosure, instead of 10/. JOCKEY'S LICENSE WITHDRAWN. CHRISTCHURCH, this day. At the monthly meeting of the Canterbury District Committee it was recommended that the jockey's license of C. E. Eastwood be withdrawn, but that he be granted permission to work in a training stable.
