N.S.W. to Negotiate With London Bondholders. TWELVE MONTHS' RESPITE. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The "Labour Daily" says that in accordance with the ultimatum that New South Wales must make its own financial arrangements, as issued by the Loan Council in defiance of the financial agreements of the Commonwealth, a cable was sent, on behalf of the New South Wales Government, to the Agent-General in London, Mr. A. C. Willis, instructing him to negotiate with the Bondholders' Association for a suspension of the payment of interest for 12 months.
