OCCUPANTS Or BURNING HOUSE. BEDROOM PILLED WITH SMOKE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHUIICH, this day. A Christchurch business man, Mr. H. E. Williams, and his wife were almost overcome by smoke in their house at Redcliffs early yesterday morning. When Mrs. Williams was awakened the bedroom was filled with smoke. She roused her husband, and both rushed from the building, reaching the open air just before the house became a mass of flames. . , The Sumner and Redcliffs fire brigades arrived on the scene, but the construction of the $win™ chance.
