SPECTATORS BARRED FROM STABLE. I AGUAS CALIENTES, January SO. Mr. Davis left to-day f-oa- -San Francisco where he will meet Elliott on his arrival. Phai* Lap's lirst ipublic appearance will be on February 7. Curious spectators have been barred from the vicinity of the horse's stable, which continues under constant guard. Mr. Woodcock says .he wants the horse to be thoroughly familiar with his surroundings before the coining of crowds. Phar Lap had. a saddle on his back 'here yesterday for the first time. Martin, who exercised him, gave him a two-mile limbering up and then he walked for an hour behind his own stable.
