INTER-CLUB EIGHTS
AUCKLAND AND WEST END,
An exceptional programme of eight-oar racing will bo provided on Saturday afternoon, when* the Auckland and West End flubs row trial cirrlits for trophies donated by Mr. W. J. Hampton Reynolds, vicepresident. The winning crew of eaeli set will moot in the finail for a trophy presented by the same donor. This trophy will be competed for annually and be held for twelve months by the winning crew. A special course from the Orakei whari to near the eastern tide deflector has been laid out by Captain H. 11. Sergeant, harbourmaster. It will be a straight run of one and three-quarter miles. The Auckland Club has kindly placed its two ('linker eights at West End's disposal. Alternate races by each club will be the order until the finals are reached.
