POLITICAL ASSOCIATION.
SUSPENSION OF ACTIVITIES. ADVOCACY OF COALITION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. At a special committee meeting of the New Zealand Political Association, the president, Air. C. I). Morpeth, presiding, the following resolution was unanimously passed:— "That whereas one of the main objects of the New Zealand Political Association, viz.. the Coalition of the anti-Socialistic parties in New Zealand politics, has been achieved, the committee resolves that the activities of the association be suspended for a period of twelve months, or such shorter period as may be determined by a meeting to be convened by the president." The committee also expressed a hope that as a result of the combined efforts of the Coalition Government th<; Dominion would soon emerge from the existing economic conditions.
