PORT OF WHANGAREI.
IMPORTS AND EXPORTS JL.ESS. CEMENT TRADE SHRINKAGE. Iliv Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The monthly meeting of the YVliangarei Harbour Board was held this morning. The chairman, Mr. J. A. Finlayson, presided. It was reported that cash recei\cd during the month of December totalled £948 4/7, compared with £982 5/8 for the same month last year. Imports showed a shrinkage from 1984.J tons to tons, and exports from 7573 i tons to 4353£ tons, this being principally attributable to a falling off 'in the cement trade. Vessels entering the port numbered 40, tho totol registered tonnage being 0057. The figures for December, 1930, were 61 vessels, with a total tonnage of 9452.
