LIVE STOCK MARKETS.

PRICES AT FRANKTON. FAT CATTLE CHEAP. Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, Limited, report having held their usual weekly stock sale at Frankton saleyards on Tuesday, as under:— Fat Sheep.—A moderate yarding; Fat wethers sold at lower rates than la.st week, fat owes selling at late rates. Fat lambs realised late rates. Light fat wethers, 10/8 to 9/; fat ewes, 0/3 to 6/9; woolly fat lambs, 10/6 to 14/; small and inferior lambs, 6/ to 9/.

Fat Cattle.—An average yarding, which met a very weak demand. Light to medium-weight fat bullocks, £4 to £4 10/; fat heifers, £2 15/ to £3 5/; fat cows, £2 10/ to £3 10/; inferior fat cows, 30/ to 37/ G. Ycal sold at late low rates. Boner cows. 15/, 20/ to 20/; potter bulls, 23/ to £2 10/.

Pigs.—A large yarding of both fat and store pigs eatno forward. Fat pigs: A slight defease on last week's quotations. .Score pigs showed a slight improvement on last week's prices. Prime baconers, 34/ to 38/; li:.'liler ditto, 28/ to 33/; porkers (best), 24/ to 27/; lighter ditto, 18/ to 23/: largo stores, 16/ to 18/; small stores. 13/ to 10/; weaners (best), 6/ to 9/; others, 3/ to 5/0.

Fanners' Co-operative Auctioneering Company. report as follows:—Sheep: Medium fat wethers sold at 10/0 to 11/3: prime fat ewes, 7/0 to 11/1; fat ewes, 5/ to 6/5; extra prime hoggets, to 15/10; prime hoggets, 12/3 to 12/10; lighter, 10/0 to 11/9: prime fat lambs, 12/ to 13/6; medium. 10/ to 11/6; killable lambs, 8/6 to 9/6.
