PAPATOETOE CLUB. The first of a series of evening meetings was held in the Papatoetoe Recreation Grounds on Tuesday evening by the Papatoetoe Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club. Results :—
75 Yards Handicap.—V. Smytheman (scr) 1, A. Dawson (scr) 2, N. Munro (Svds) 3. Won by a yard, two yards between second and third. , , 440 Yards Handicap.—N. Munro flojds) 1, V. Smytheraan (scr) -', A. McLousinin (scr) 3. "Won by tour yards, three yards between second and third. Half-mile Cycle Handicap.—b. I infold (scr) 1, T. Fielder (30yds) 2, N. Johnson (15yds) 3. Won by fifteen yards, nve yards between second and third. The meetings will be continued every Tuesday, at 7 p.m. Points races for the presldent's trophy will commence ou 'Eebruar? -2.
