SINGAPORE, January 18.

The condition of Colonel Brinsmead, Director of Civil Aviation in Australia, who was injured in the crash of the air mail 'plane in Malay in December, is improving. He is now able to take short motor runs. He was anxious to fly to Australia with Kingsford Smith but the doctors forbade him.
