MAYFAIR CABARET.

On Saturday evening the usual dance was held in the Mayfair Cabaret, Smith and Smith's Buildings, Karangahape Road, and a large gathering of enthusiastic dancers showed delighted ackno ledgment of what proved to be a suecessful evening. Dick Saxon conducted the Mayfair band, who rendered the latest dance hits in the modern manner. Their conception of Peek-a-boo playing drew well-merited applause. Mr. .bes Davidson proved a favourite. -Ths idea of an eccentric acrobat at the piano showed his versatility. Among those present were: Mrs. F. Harrison, pink taffeta; Mrs. E. Jackson, pink organdie; Mrs. H. Henning, floral georgette; Mrs. T. Harrison, -white georgette and lace; Miss Stevens, cherry embossed georgette; Miss B. Powell, coral georgette and satin; Miss T. Gordon royal blue satin and georgette; Miss Henry, pink crepe de chine; Miss B. Purchell, green georgette and tulle; Miss J. Ryan, pink chiffon and lace; Miss P. Taylor, white lace; Miss Clierie Allen, pale green net; Miss G Duncan, blue taffeta and black Spanish shawl; Miss White, Swiss embroidered black lace; Miss J. Purchell, cherry satin; Miss Allie Joy, slim-fitting frock of black moire; Miss L. Peachie, sea green crepe de chine; Miss E. Robertson, pale pink georgette; Miss R. Hill, embossed georgette; Miss C.
