BROADSIDING.
VARIED PROGRAMME TO-NIGHT.
One of the most attractive programmes yet arranged by the management of Auckland Speedways will bo staged at Western Springs Stadium this evening. Besides first-class broadsiding events, in which Tom Earndon, holder of the Auckland mile record, and Roger Eroglcy, captain of the English team, will be seen in contests with Alf Mattson and other local cracks, several other interesting items have been arranged. Twoepccially-selcctcd dogs will give an exhibition of flat and hurdle whippet racing, there will be an exhibition of fireworks after the races, and there will also be daucing on the lawn. It has been arranged for trams to leave the stadium for all suburbs after midnight.
