PASSENGERS FOR AUCKLAND

After a fine weather trip all the way from Vancouver, the R.M.s. Aorangi arrived at Auckland about 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon and berthed at the Princes wharf two hours later. More than one hundred passengers landed at Auckland.

Sir. Martin Griffin, barrister, of Vancouver, is a through passenger to Sydney.

Mr. A. W. Cliffc, of London, arrived 011 a business trip to New Zealand.

Commander B. L. Hewitt, who has been on a visit to Vancouver find San Francisco, returned.

Mr. F. Thompson, general manager of the Christehurch Tramways Board, who lias been on a tour of Britain, Canada and the United States, was a passenger.

The Hon. Islay McOwan, Secretary of Native Affairs in Fiji, arrived to spend three months of his leave in the Dominion. He was formerly His Majesty's consular agent at Nukualofa,. Tonga.

Mr. Albert" Spencer, president of the Auckland Provincial Employers' Association, came home after representing New Zealand at the International Labour Conference at Geneva.
