BEACH CARNIVAL.Th.e following programme of events, to be run in conjunction with the b!g beach carnival which is being organised Jjy Mr. .7. Hopkins, has heen drawn up by the North Shore Amateur Swimming Ch)l>. to be decided on Saturday. January 2: 50yds ; junior boys' handicap, 14 years and uuiler: 50yds junior girls' handicap, under 14 years: 00yds boys' handicap, 17 years and under: DOyds girls' handicap. 17 years and j under: 30yds open handicap, and 50yds I open ladies' handicap. j (u addition an exhibition of life-saving will be given by the Takapuna Surf Club. Entries close for all events with the caretaker, Tepid Baths, or honorary secrctarv, 15, Cambridge Terrace, Devonport, on Wednesday, December 30, at 0 o'clock.
