VICE-REGAL TOUR.
RECEPTION.AT dANNEVIRKB. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) "" DANNEVJRKE, Tuesday. The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and the Lady Bledisloe, spent to-day, in Dannevirke and district,' paying , their first official vieit. Jn the morning their Excellencies called at the Public Hospital, where they made a tour of the wards. They were subsequently tendered a civic reception in the Domain. The weather was glorious, and about 2000 people were present. In the afternoon the Vice-Regal party motored to various points.of interest in the district and met a gathering of farmers at the"Tamaki dairy factory. The party leaves to-morrow in continuation of the tour.
