Hull Chamber of Commerce decided to the Government to recognise tlie need for some reciprocal arrangement in View of the difficulties of manufacturers w obtaining payment for exports owing o 15 foreign Governments restricting ® export of currencies. It was pointed "Ut that a Bradford firm exported cloth 0 Hungary and was unable to obtain payment although, the money was eposited in their name in a Hungarian ank. The Government refused to permit '. ®oney to be taken over and even Rejected an offer, to take Hungarian products in lieu of currency.
