DAMAGE TO HUTS.
TWO HORSE HUNTERS FINED GOVERNMENT MATERIAL TAKEN. (From Our Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA. Monday. Two campers who damaged Government hutments to the value of £2 13/ were brought before Mr. S. L. Paterson. S.M., this morning and fined 22/ costs and ordered to ma-ke good the damage. The men. William Parker and Frederick Gallagher, went out after wild horses. Their tent was blown down during rough weather and they helped themselves to material from the hutt to build a frhack. The offence was admitted and one month allowed to find the money.
