Douglas Marsh (21), a boilermakers apprentice was drowned whilst bathing yesterday in a deep hole in the Waimata River. A companion named Michie, who is axi indifferent swimmer, and a 12-year-old boy. Trevor -Stevens, made plucky but ineffectual efforts to save him.
