LABOURERS' UNION APPEAL. SPECIAL SESSION SUGGESTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. t _ On behalf of the relier worKers' section of the General Labourers 3 Union, Mr. P. M. Butler has sent the following telegram to Messrs. Forbes and Coates: "In view of the serious situation arising in Wellington, owing to the Hospital Board not being able to meet the claims of unemployed workers and grant them relief, we earnestly request that you call a special session of Parliament in order to meet the'situation, as the position is critical." • - A message on similar lines was also I sent to Mr. Holland.
