RAIN DELAYS CARGO WORK.' ULIMAROA DUE TO .MORROW. Heavy rain this morning - delayed cargo work on the waterfront and all overseas snipping and a number of coastal vessels were idle. At midday the waterside labour was standing by in readiness to start work as soon ae the weather cleared. The only overseas steamer to arrive at Auckland to-day was the Northumberland from New Plymouth, to continue Homeward loading. The Ulimaroa, with passengers, mails and cargo from Sydney, is due to-mor-row, but up till an early hour this afternoon she had not wirelessed the exact time of her arrival. ARRlVALS—Saturday. H.M.s. With carro for London, the Commonwraith and "Dominion Line motor ship Port Fairy sailed from Auckland late on Saturday afternoon. She will proceed Home via Cape Horn and Dakar. NARBADA'S MOVEMENTS. The Union Company advise that the Narbada left Calcutta on Thursday for Penan?. Singapore and Samarang to complete loading for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff. THE TAKEHA. Due at Bluff from Australia on December 21. the S.S. a.nd A. steamer Pakeha will load there and also at Lyttelton, Wanganni. Auckland and "Wellington for London. She is to be dispatched from Wellington on January 16. ROTORUA AT SUVA. Id continuation of her voyage from London, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rotorua is to leave Suva to-morrow morning. She should arrive at Wellington on Saturday, two days ahead of schedule, to land passengers. THE RANGITATA. At present loading at the Prince's wharf, the New Zealand Shipping Company's motor ship Rangifcata is to leave Auckland at daybreak on Saturday for Napier and Southern ports to fill np. She is to leave Wellington for London on December 31. THE OPAWA. Bringing cargo from Liverpool (November 29). the New "Zealand Shipping Company's motor ship Opawa is coming to New Zealand via Dakar and the Cape of Good Hope instead of the usual Panama route. She is due to arrive at Auckland about January 5. THE TAIROA. Having left London in ballast on Octoher 30. the S:S. and A. steamer Tairoa is dne at New Plymouth on December 14 to commence loading for London and W.C.U.K. j ports. -She will also load at Wanganui. Napier. Auckland, Timaru and Port Chalmers, and is to sail on her Homeward; voyage on January 7. j NORTHUMBERLAND LOADING. To continue loading for London and W.C.U.K. ports, the Federal steamer Nor-' thumberland arrived at Auckland from New Plymouth this morning, and berthed at the Queen's wharf. She is expected to sail on Thursday, and will fill up at Wellington and Napier, to sail finally for Home on December 19. UNION CO.'S STEAMERS. ■ The Waimea. which arrived yesterday, is to sail for Napier at -3 p.m. to-morrow. The Karetu left Suva on Saturday for Auckland. Hence she is to go to New-; castle and Sydney. The Wingatui is to leave Wellington today for Napier and Auckland. After discharge here she is to return to Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin and Timaru, sailing next Friday. The Kaimiro was expected to leave Westport yesterday for Wellington. Napier and Auckland. After discharge here she is to go to Greymouth. The Waipiata is to load at Bluff for dispatch about Saturday for Dunedin. Oatnaru. Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. The Kaponga. which left Auckland on Saturday, is to load at Westport on Wednesday, and will fill up at Greymouth for Wellington and Auckland.
