RAIN IN THE NORTH.
SHARP FALL IN WHANGAREI. ;, (By Telegraph.—Own* Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. Heavy rain commenced falling early this morning, and up to "noon .43 inches had fallen. " So far the roads are unaffected. Haymaking has been interfered with. Pastures, however, were needing rain.
