TAUMARUNUI RACES. FLYING PRINCE IN FORM. H. GRAY'S BIDING QUERIED. LADY LULU COMPLETES DOUBLE. There was again glorious weather for the second "day of the Taumarunui Racing Club's annual meeting, and the track was fast. : The attendance was not large, although hetter than that on the opening day./ The stipendiary steward, Air. A. P. Wilson, announced that he was dissatisfied with H. Gray's handling of Flying Prince in the sprint race and would have instituted an inquiry only for the fact that Plying Prince got up to dead-heat for first. . ,-. Before racing commenced the judicial committee held an inquiry into the interference with Steady Fire in the Owhango Hack Handicap on the first day. After hearing the evidence of several riders the committee decided to take no action. The totalisator bandied £3174 for seven races, compared with £6730 for eight races on thg second clay last year. The total investments for the 14 races at the meeting amounted to £5959, compared with £13,063 for 16 races last year, a decrease of £7104. Later; results:— . Webster scored another win at the_ Warwick Farm races yesterday with First Acre, who was pushed to get home by a short neck from Warneton in the December Handicap. Loquacious, was third, and the New Zealander, Vertigern, was unplaced. Coutts, rider of Loquacious, was censured by the stewards for jostling on the rails, which spoilt Loquacious' chance of winThe Treclare gelding Tingalba won the Kirkham Stakes.
