PUBLIC SERVICE TOURNEY
POSTAL PAIR WINS FINAL.
In the final of the Public Service pairs bowling tourney played yesterday on the Auckland green Williams and Allan (Postal) defeated Howell and Isaacs (Agriculture), by 21 points to 20. At the completion of the 21st head the scores were equal. Allan securing a win on the extra head by one point.
FIVE TIES AT EPSOM. A verv successful pairs tournament was held by' the Epsom Bowling Club yesterday. 10 teams competing. The weather was favourable and the green in splendid order. There were three ties in section A. Groqott and Walker (Auckland) winning the play-off. Two teams tied in section B, Frost and Ball (Carlton) being ultimately successful. The final between Walker and Ball will be played on a date to bo arranged.
