"WIZARD" SMITH'S CAR.

TO BE SHIPPED TO AWANUI

TRANSPORTATION DIFFICULTY.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)

WHANGAREL, this day.

It will not be possible to drive or tow Mr. "Wizard Smith's racing car to the Ninety-Mile Beach, ~on account of its low ground clearance. It will be shipped from Auckland to Awanui and transp6rted by road in a specially-constructed three-axled truck. The .racing car measures. approximately 26 feet long and weighs over 3 tons. Transport from Awanui to the beach will therefore be quite a problem.
