NURSING DIVISION'S WORK

At the annual re-examination aud inspection of the Auckland nursing division of the St. John Ambulance, satisfaction was expressed by Dr. Neil McDougall with the work carried out by its superintendent, officers and members. The report for the year revealed that 118 first aid cases had been attended on public duty, 336 cases had been treated privately and 2690 cases had been attended at the Dock Street Mission in St. Matthew's Hail. Twenty-six patients had been nursed privately.

Ambulance Sister Lancaster was the winner of Dr. C. H. Tewsley's trophy competition, the examination being conducted by Dr. Graham Lindsay.
