"Another shoplifting case? It seems< as though the men are taking it on now," said Mr. F. Iv. Hunt, S.Mi, in the Police Court this morning, when William Ernest Curtis was called to answer a charge of stealing yesterday articles valued at 0/, the property of the Farmers' Trading: Company, Curtis, who is retired and f»l years of age, pleaded guilty. Detective Sergeant Kelly said that yesterday morning accused was soon acting in a suspicious manner in fclie shop. He left, but returned later, anil was again seen acting suspiciously.
