PRICES AT SMITHFIELD. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London !office as at close of business this week:— Wethers: The demand is improving; prices are practically unchanged. Ewes: The market is dull. Lambs: The market is affected by heavy supplies of cheaper meat from other sources. Wethers, light, 3%d to 4/id per lb; heavy, 2%d to 3%d; ewes, 2%d to 3V&d; lambs, twos 63id to VA<\, eights 6d to QVid, fours 5d to sVid, seconds 4%d to sYtd. PRICES FOR METALS. LONDON, November 26. (Quotations on Nov. 23 in parentheses.) Copper.— : Spot, £32 4/3 (£33 16/10%); three months, £32 18/9 (£34 6/10%). Electrolytic Copper.—Spot, £38 (£39); three months, £40 (£4l). Wire Bars.—£4o (£4l). Lead.—Spot, £14 11/3 ( £14 18/9);. three months, £14 7/6 (£l4 15/). Spelter.—Spot, £13 13/9 (£l4 3/9); three months, £14 (£l4 11/3). New Zealand, salted, 104/ to 108/; unsalted, 114/ to 118/; Australian, salted, 104/. to 106/; nnsalted, 104/ to 106/; Danish, 128/. Cheese. —Market quiet. New Zealand, white, 63/ to 64/; coloured, 62/ to 64/; Canadian, 66/ to 70/. Messrs. A. H. Turnbull and Co. are in receipt of a cable from their principals, Messrs. W. Weddel and Co., Ltd., dated London, 27th inst., reading as follows: — Butter.—Danish, 130/; New Zealand, unsalted, 114/ to 118/; salted, 104/ to 108/. Cheese.—New Zealand, white, 62/ to 64/; coloured, 60/ to 62/. Market steadier. CHICAGO WHEAT VALUES. (Received 10 a.m.) CHICAGO, November 27. Wheat for_ delivery in December is quoted at 52% cents per bushel, for delivery in March at 5394 cents, for May delivery at 55% cents, and for July delivery at 54% cents.
