The Barnett trophy was pliiycd for by Wellington and Cliristchurch teams at the Wellington Bowling Club's green to-da.p. Seven riDks were played, Chrisichurch winning four, but Wellington won on the aggregate of points by 107 to 162, and hold the trophy. A return match will be played at Christchurch in January.
