BARNETT TROPHY MATCH. WELLINGTON BEATS CHRISTCHURCH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Friday. The Barnett trophy was pliiycd for by Wellington and Cliristchurch teams at the Wellington Bowling Club's green to-da.p. Seven riDks were played, Chrisichurch winning four, but Wellington won on the aggregate of points by 107 to 162, and hold the trophy. A return match will be played at Christchurch in January. The s-cores were (Wellington named first).—Hill 18, v. Pollock 23: Mayer S3, v. Mazey 17; Hodgins 19, v. Morrison 2G; Gray 27, v. Gosney 19 ; Smith 23, r. Beanland 29; Goodwin 19, v. Ives 26; Munro 33, v. Ryan 19.
