The butter market is recovering after weakness earlier in the week. Danish, 128/ per cwt; choiccst salted New Zealand, 106/ to 108/; Australian, 104/ to 105/; unsalteds, none offering. Cheese is dull. .New Zealand, coloured, 61/ per cwt; white, 63/; Australian, coloured, 60/; white, 62/. PRICES AT GLASGOW. Messrs. Norden and Company, Limited, have received the following cable from their principals, Messrs. R. and W. Davideon, Limited, Glasgow, London, etc., under date 26th inst.:— Butter.—Market improving; 105/ to 10S/ per cwt, equivalent to 10.99 d lb f .o.b. Auckland. Cheese.—Market steady. White, 63/ to 64/ per cwt, equivalent to 5.97 d lb f.o.b. Auckland; coloured, 62/ to 63/, equivalent to 5.86 d lb f.o.b. Auckland. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received the foliowiug cablegram from their London principals, Messrs. Samuel Page and Son, dated 26th instant:— Butter.—The market is rather better. New Zealand, finest grade, salted, at 103/ to 107/ per cwt; Danish, 126/ to 128/'; Australian, finest unsalted, 104/ to 108/: finest salted, 100/ to 104/; g.a.q., 94/ to 98/. Cheese.—The market is dull. New Zealand, white, 62/ to 64/ per cwt; coloured, 60/ to 62/; Canadian, white, 66/ to 70/: coloured, 66/ to 70/. Mr. W. W. Bowker has received the following cable from his principals, A. J. Milk and Co., London, dated November 26: —Butter market steady. New Zealand, finest, 107/ per cwt; first, 105/; unsalted, 112/ to 114/; Danish, 124/; Australian, 104/ to 100/. Cheese market slow. New Zealand, white, 62/ to 63/ >pcr cwt; coloured, 61/ to 62/; Canadian, white and coloured, 64/ to 68/. Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co. have received the following cable from their London principals, Messrs. Nathan and Trengrouse, dated London, November 26: Butter.—-Finest, 107/ to 108/ per cwt; first, 105/. Quiet, but firm. Cheese. —New Zealand, white, 63/ per cwt; coloured, 61/. More doing. BEET SUGAR. LONDON, November 26. Beet sugar is quoted for December delivery at 6/3 M: per cwt. WHEAT CARGOES, ETC. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 26. Wheat cargoes are quiet. Australians were offered at 6d decline, and Plates 6d to 1/ less in sympathy with weakness in Argentina. There was no business in parcels. Manitobas show an occasional 6d decline and Australians 9d. On headway being made with harvesting, Plates were offered 6d to 1/ on the favourable outlook for the new Futures:—London: December, 24/8 per quarter; February, 24/9; June, 25/9. Liverpool: December, per cental; March, 5/6%; May, 5/894. Spot trade is quiet, and prices generally easier. Australian, ex ship, 30/0 to 33/. Flour is dull. Australian, ex store, 21/6 to 22/6. Oats arc about 6d lower, peas and beans quiet. GOLD AND SILVER. » (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 26. The price of silver is 18 9-16 d for spot delivery, and 189 id for forward. Gold is quoted at £5 14/2 per ounce. AUSTRALIAN PRODUCE. SYDNEY, November 26. The following are to-day's quotations on the Sydney produce market: —Wheat: Ex trucks Sydney, 3/2%; at country station?, 2/7%. Flour, £11 15/. Bran, £4 10/. Pollard. £5. Potatoes, Tasmanian (old), to £8; local (new), £8. Onions, Victorian, £5 10/; Queensland. £12. Oats, White and Algerian, 2/6. Maize, 3/2. (Received 11.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day.
