The Farmers' Auctioneering Co. field a successful sale on account of Mr. William and Miss I. D. Scott of pedigree Jerseys at Thames yesterday. There was a large attendance from all. parts of the province, buyers taking stock away to Hamilton, Te Itapa, Maungaturoto, Wanganui, Matatoki. Waitakaruru, Patetonga and Turua. Cows realised 35gs to lOgs; yearling heifers, 19gs to 7%gs: fresh-dropped calves, lOgs to Bgs; two buJls, lOgs to 7%gs. Only one cow was passed in. Fifteen guineas was offered, but the reserve was higher.
