LADIES' AUXILIARY.
The Inter-house Sports clubrooms were daintily arranged yesterday afternoon, when a bridge afternoon was given by the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Legion of Frontiersmen. Members of the committee were: Mesdames Sinclair, Reid, F. Wilson, Norman Kerr, May, McDonald, E. D'Esterre, C. Scott, F. • C. Webster, Meikle, McCoomb and W. Palmer. During the tea recess, songs and recitations were given by Mrs. Salisbury Sykes (Manurewa), Madame Eileen Frost, Miss Gladys Burton and Miss Barbara Kerr. The prize winners were: Hidden number, Mrs. Doust; bridge, Mrs. Outram Horspool; consolation prize," Miss Tate. Among those present were: Mesdames J. Tippin, C. M. Savory, D, J. Hall, A. Thompson,, R. C. Airey, W.Smith, Salisbury Sykes, J. Carter, J. Whitten, M. Stark, D. R. Salmon, C.. Balderson, *N. A. Fraser, C. Doust, W. Chapman, J. G. Campbell, P. vo'Zglinicki, J. Whitten> H. Purser, F. Nelson, Misses Tate, Turner and vo'Zglinicki.
