SYDNEY BUSES TAXED OFF THE ROAD.—Following on the passing by the New South Wales Labour Government of legislation strangling private bus competition, Mr. F. H.' Stewart, governing director of the Metropolian Omnibus Company, has offered the Government 90 of the company's buses, valued at £100,000, for the use of the community and to prov.de work for the dismissed employees. Illustration shows a demonstration of bus employees protesting against the passing of the legislation.
