YOUNG MAN FOR SENTENCE,

Pleading guilty to charges of breaking and entering the slop of H. M. McGrrr and stealing goods valued at £10 8/0, stealing 220 postal packets and letters W the Te Aro Post. Office,; attempting to steal money and stamps, Henry Balfour Burden, aged 21, vras to-, diy committed to the Supreme Court for sentence'. „ • % A detective stated that the mail contained cheques valued at £0000, but none was negotiable. About six had"not been recovered, and accused said these had been burnt. The greater part of, the mail had been recovered.
