TAIHAPE AND U.TIKU CLUBS..
The Taihape Club will open Its sca'son with a night carnival on December 11. Officials appointed are:—Judges, Messrs. G. C. Armstrong, H. P. Denne, F. W. Scherf, C Cherry and C. L. Dymock; starter and timekeeper, Mr. H. D. Bond; check starter, Mr. W. Tristram ;" handicappers* Messrs. S. J. McDonnell, W. Healey and W. Hayes. Officials elected at the annual meeting of the Utiku Club were:—Patron, Mr 1 . G. E. Gibbs; president, Mr. F. W. Scherf; vicepresidents, Messrs. P. Munro and D. Pilcher: executive, Mesdames R. G. Kendall and E. C. Gibbs and Messrs. D. McKenzie, R. J. Gibbs and H. Jones; secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. R. Blackman.
