DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVES.
The executive of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association met yesterday, Mr. J. T. F. Mitchell presiding.
A report from the attractions committee recommending that steer-riding, woodchopping, sheep shearing,. and sheep-dog trials be attractions at the .next Auckland Show, was adopted. It was also reported that arrangements were being made to include a military display, in which naval and Boy Scout units would co-operate.
It was decided to appoint district representatives in various country centres to work in their districts to increase membership,. obtain more entries, and possibly collect trophies and prize money. ■ The centres where representatives will be appointed are Wliangarei, Kaihere, Waiwera, Helensville, Kumeu, Dargaville, Kaitaia. Wniuku. Brookby, Clevedcn, Papakura. Whitford, Wiri, Manurewa, Te Aroha, Waihi, Paeroa, and Morrinsviile.
