The A section winner was Sykes, 5 wins, while Fraser led in the B section.
Final. —Five heads; Gorrie. Sykes, Lippiatt, Gardiner (Otahuliu) 6, beat Delamore, Moon, Trayes, Fraser (Mt. Eden) 4. NIGHT TOURNEY AT WHANGAREI. The first 1931-32 night tournament of the Whangarei Bowling Club was held last night. There were six rinks in play. In the final A, Chissell beat Dr. Good. TAIHAPE CLUB. The first match this season for the Marsh Cup ended in-the defeat of the holders, C. Murphy and G. C. Armstrong, by C. Cherry and W. McDonald, 24 —13.
