BATHING AT CHELTENHAM.

May I have a few lines to utter a protest in the way the Devonport Borough Council is treating Cheltenham Beach ? Narrow Neck and Devonport have bathing sheds but Cheltenham, one of the finest beaches in Auckland, is deprived of such' sheds. I would like to suggest to the council that they provide the type of shed that is used at Narrow Neck. It will not cost very much to erect, and as for larrikinism which one of the residents suggested, I am sure that it will not occur, as I have been swimming there for a number of years and have not seen any of.it. . BATHER.
