lhe action of the Freezing Workers' Union in refusing to allow additional slaughtermen to accept work will, I hope, bring home to every employed and unemployed worker tlie fact that trade unions have become a bi ,r menace to the workers than any so-called combination of vested interests ever tried to be in this enlightened age. It would appear to be time the worker demanded an overhaul of the whole of Labour's platform and the neccr?s.tv for a change in leadership aiid tho relaxation of that autocratic spirit adopted by some unions in these stringent timet;. AWAKENED UNIONIST. .
