BUSINESS CONTINUES FAIR
Though sales on the local Exchange have not been numerous during the past 24 hours late values are well maintained. At this morning's call Goldsbrough, Mort shares changed hands at £1 4/, the highest price realised for a considerable period. Buyers for DaTgetys advanced their offers to £7 7/6, probably in anticipation of an early dividend announcement. The banking section again attracted special interest at the first call, but no sales eventuated, though buyers moved their limits to 16/ for Commercials, £27 for New South Wales, and £8 17/6 for Australasias. Pukemiro Collieries were wanted at £1 9/ and Mosgiel Woollens at £6. SAXES COMPLETED. Last Sale. AT THE 3.15 P.M.
