A spinal injury was received early last evening by Mr. Kenneth Lott, aged 29, of 59, Marlborough Street, off Dominion Road, a mechanic employed iby the Waikato Transport Company, when a truck owned by the firm crushed him against a wall as it was backing into a 'loading platform. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital and is in a satisfactory condition.
The quail is the smallest member of the partridge family.
