The Raglan Women's Institute held an exhibition on October 17,_ when the members divided themselves into five groups, each of which competed with a district court. The points for judging were appearance, thrift articles, handicrafts, home crafts and treasures and curios belonging to members. The courts were tastefully ai'ranged, and the quantity and quality of tlie exhibits were a surprise to all. The exhibition was thrown open to the public, and a large crowd was in attendance. The judges were from Te Uku Institute—Mrs. J. Dent, Miss Crabbe, Miss A. Peart, Mrs. F. Peart and j Mrs. Silcock. The winning court belonged to the town group. I
