BURIAL AT HIKURANGI.

WHANGAREI, this day.

At a meeting of the Northland League, held in Hikurangi last evening, a vote of sympathy with the parents and relatives of the late Mr. Sam Harris, who expired suddenly on Saturday at Carlaw Pari:, Auckland, was passed. The body was brought home to Hikurangi for burial this afternoon. Telegrams were received from the New Zealand Rugby League, Auckland League and Newton Club. Jloral tributes weie received from these bodies, which were also officially represented. Members or the Hikurangi League Club acted as pall-bearers. , . , Mr. C. E. O'Callaghan represented the Auckland League.
