The "Daily Telegraph's" ' political f orrespondent says the division of the Cabinet seats is likely to be as follows:—Conservatives, 12; National Labour, 4; National Liberal, 4. Mr. Mac Donald, Mr.' Baldwin and ' Sir Herbert Samuel are known to be desirpus'that the Cabinet should be truly ' national, but at the same time constitute an efficient team.
Lord Sankey, Mr. Snowden and Mr. Thomas are expected to be National Labour representatives, and Lord Hailjham in a non-legal post is likely to join the Conservatives already in office.
Mr.- Lan Macplierson is among the National Liberals who may be offered pffice. *. ,
The "Daily Herald's" political writer usserts that Mr. Mac Donald's difficulty is whom to leave out. If Messrs. Winston Churchill .and L. S. Amery and Sir Robert Home are not included, there will always Hie- a danger of their leading i revolt of the back benehcrs, as an overwhelming majority of the. Conservatives are pledged to a high tariff; Already there are signs of an attempt to force Mr. Mac Donald's hand in the form of a demand for immediate dumping legislation.
Sir William Jowitt was elected to the Jast'Parliament as a Liberal, but soughtthe Chiltern Hundreds on throwing in his lot with Labour, and was re-elected, being appointed Attorney-General in the MacPonald Cabinet." - \, >

(British Official Wireless.) " !
(Received i.2 noon.) v
RUGBY, November 2.
The Prime Minister will go to Lossiemouth to-morrow night for a few days in order to rest. Regarding the selection of the Cabinet, it is understood that the Ministers chosen will be Mr. MacDonald's personal choice and will be based on their suitability for their par- ■ ticular Departments, and their ability to work- as part of a team.
Although it is usual that the Prime Minister's principal lieutenant takes office as Chancellor of the Exchequer,'it is generally believed that a departure from this practise will be mad© and that Mr, Baldwin will occupy No. 11, Downing Street, thus facilitating close personal contact with the Prime Minister, while; taking some office other thftn- the Chancellorship, will relieve him of direct Departmental cares. It. is not thought that the new Cabinet will be announced before the end of the week.
In an interview in the "Manchester Guardian," Mr. Lloyd George, the Liberal leader, urges that advanced Liberalism and Labour should work together for their common ends. While iriticising much of the policy of the late labour Government, he thinks there are points; of' agreement on which the propessive minds of all parties can collaborate.
He says that Labour's present methods of recruitment are too narrow to enable them- to become a truly national • party Within a generation. His Majesty the King received Mr. Baldwin, and it is understood that the general political situation was diseussed.
