THE CYCLIST'S VIEWPOINT.
[ I\>Uh to call attention to the hard l"t of the common cy.-hst, bv reference t.> an incident that occurred to myadf on October HI. j 'en riding homewards from work I was in the act of turning a right-angled left-hand corner, riding within three feet of the kerb, leaving twelve feet of roadway for other tiafnc, when suddenly, without warnir - ?, a motor car, driven hy some hare-brained woman, tiled to rip open its front tvre with mv offside pedal. Naturally I yelled to her to pro to blaze.-, but, without even look in" at n> ?. she crowded in r loser stiil mtil I wa°s in dire danger of catching mv inside pedal on th? kerb. Now if m v pedal had caught I would probably have finished up with a broken collarbone at least, and if she had stopped she would projably have claimed that I was riding zigzag fashion and gotten oIT scot free. And they say that cyr" -ts arc alwavs to blame. \ INDTG NAN'S.
