TAKAPUNA UNEMPLOYED,

Mr. J. Guiniven, Mayor of Takapuna:, stated at a meeting of the council last evening that a. further paring of £40 was inevitable in next week's allocation of the unemployment relief grant for Takapuna. It was almost certain that no two-day-a-week men could be employed that week and married workers would probably have a few hours taken off their time.
