BUILDING PERMITS.
FIGURES FOR OCTOBER,
Building permits issued by the Auckland City Council for October were of nearly three times the value of those of the previous month. The total of £33,758 has been exceeded this year only in February, when the value was £34,375. In October of las*, year, however, permits were valued £*•• £88,4152. The total value of permits issued in the first 10 months of 193 i was £205,831, against £690,310 in the corresponding period of 1930.
