AUCKLAND ROTARY CLUB.

Vice-president T. U. Wells occupied the chair at to-day's weekly lunch meeting of the Auckland* Rotary Club, held in Milne and Choyce's reception hall. There was a large attendance, and amongst the visitors were Professor L. D. Coffman (Minneapolis), Messrs. •S. Luft (Sydney), R. Wallace (Napier), Harold Kent and R. Telford (Wellington)..

Mr.. W. B. Darlow was installed as. a member.

The chairman specially welcomed among the visitors Professor Coffman, who is in New Zealand as a representative of the Carnegie Trust, and who briefly addressed the members.

The speaker of the day was Kotarian W. J. Holdsworth, who delivered ; an address entitled "Give . the Boys . a Chance.". . ■ •
